Where to deliver berries for freezing?
Due to the military actions in Ukraine, the export of berries and fruits has been complicated. Currently, the best solution for berry producers is to deliver the product to freezing factories. Specialists from the Tevitta freezing plant for berries, vegetables, and fruits shared this information.
The company’s main facilities are located in Shpola, Cherkasy region, but raw material acceptance is carried out throughout Ukraine. To facilitate this, the plant has additionally established product acceptance points in the Vinnytsia region (Bar, Zhmerinka, and Myronivka village in the Yampil district) and in the West (Lviv city). The plant was built according to the latest trends of 2021 and is one of the few in Ukraine that has BRC Global Standard certification, ensuring the quality of the final product and a responsible approach to the freezing process. The simultaneous product acceptance capacity is 30 tons per hour, while the line capacity is 15 tons per hour.
Under the Tevitta brand, more than 20 types of products are sold, including:
- berries — strawberries, raspberries, currants, red currants, elderberry, blueberries, cranberries;
- fruits — apricot, plum;
- vegetables — corn, pepper, onion, pumpkin, carrot, tomato, broccoli, peas, eggplant, zucchini.
Let us remind you that the Tevitta brand launched the “Berry Farming Academy” project to help producers learn more about what affects the cost of the products that are delivered to the plant.
