Tevitta Opens New Markets for Berries and Vegetables This Year
Challenges at the Border Due to Polish Protests Prompt Ukrainian Producers to Seek New Markets for Agricultural Products
Sales Manager of Tevitta, Ihor Usaty, shared with Kurkul.com:
“Currently, the sales map has changed compared to previous years. Our company has opened new markets in the USA, Canada, the UK, India, and South American countries. The main products are all the berries and vegetables produced by the company,” the expert said.”
According to him, foreign markets this year have shown interest in Ukrainian berries—raspberries, black currants, blueberries, and blackberries. There was also demand for cherries.
“Vegetables remain unchanged, we export super-sweet corn, onions, pumpkins, peppers, cauliflower, and broccoli,” added Ihor Usaty.
Meanwhile, consumption in Ukraine remains at a very low level, with demand being four times lower than pre-war levels.
“In fact, there is a lot of competition from European-origin products on Ukrainian retail shelves, which also prevents the increase in volumes of domestic products. Despite this, we still plan to increase the number of Tevitta brand items in Ukrainian sales networks and the market as a whole,” concluded Ihor Usaty.
